SmartBug Media Adds New Team Lead Anna Tindal to Enhance Its Client Services Department
SmartBug Media—a leading Intelligent Inbound marketing agency that assists businesses in generating leads, increasing awareness, and building brand loyalty through inbound marketing, digital strategy, design, marketing automation, and public relations—announced the addition of Anna Tindal as team lead and marketing strategist. As the newest member of SmartBug’s team of Client Services leaders, Anna’s mission is to build a strong team of marketers that is capable of achieving great outcomes for the company’s clients.
In her new role, Tindal plans to leverage her 10 years of marketing and management experience to achieve a few lofty goals for her SmartBug team. These goals include 100 percent employee retention, doubling revenue from existing accounts by driving incremental growth in the success metrics that align to clients’ business goals, and nurturing a growth mindset to bring new revenue stream opportunities that lead to expansion.
“I am so excited to be a part of an organization that is well-positioned to scale,” says Tindal. “As I work and learn from our growing team of industry veterans, I plan to lend my experience and skills with people management, team-building, operations, and strategy to help SmartBug realize its aggressive but achievable growth goals.”
Hailing from the Carolinas, Tindal previously served as managing director at Ironpaper, where she created an operational strategy to grow the agency’s Charlotte location. Her development and deployment of a new team structure, which enabled accelerated improvements in clients’ growth metrics during the first 90 days, resulted in increased revenues in 2018. By following the philosophies that “the team you build is the company you build” and “what gets measured gets managed,” Tindal developed a data-driven strategy and built and coached a group of high performers who exceeded their goals.
“Anna’s operational mindset will perfectly complement our company’s goals and augment the growth of her team,” said SmartBug’s VP of Client Services Amber Kemmis. “Her ability to see big picture opportunities for clients backed by a data-driven approach will undoubtedly help her and her team achieve record-breaking growth.”
Tindal studied exercise science at Syracuse University and is currently a member of the American Marketing Association.
